❤How much does a wedding planner cost?

We are up front with all of our concierge and planning costs.

So, newlyweds who have a wedding for just the two of them or with the witnesses have less needs and demands less time and cost for organizing the wedding and thus they pay the smallest amount for the wedding planning, organization and coordination service – only 600€.

When there is a larger group of guests or special and demanding wedding venues, then planning and organization, coordination requires more services, care and attention time, the cost of telephone, fuel, parking, meetings etc.

We offer a variety of planning services to suit every budgets. Here’s a service and price guide on our wedding planning packages.

First of all, we are a Concierge service company.

We provide personal attention and we are committed to making your wedding or event experience different than any other.

Booking your wedding with Antropoti Wedding Concierge & Planner is peace of mind that money can buy. We are highly respected within the concierge, bridal and tourism industry and are flexible to the needs of our clients and we have never been faced with a problem or challenge we couldn’t fix.

Antropoti is a professional full time business which I live every day and not the job and the task that just happened, as a hobby or after a course we took over the weekend.

You can be 100% sure when you are an antropoti client because:

❤Are you available for travel?

We are and we do! We are primarily based in Zagreb, Croatia but love to work in other cities and countries. Please inquire for availability, typically additional fee’s will apply.

❤Why should I hire a wedding planner?

A destination wedding is dreamy, but planning a destination wedding can be very stressful and indeed nightmare. For many couples, this is their very first time planning a wedding. They are confused as to where to begin, how much everything should cost, and how to choose vendors that are the best fit for them. Planning a wedding is not only about choosing your venue, transportation, colors, flowers, bridal party attire and menu… There are many logistical matters to attend to, such as, the timing of events, parking situations, where the cake table is to be placed and knowing which vendors are reputable and trusted. We are here to guide you and to take care of all of these concerns.

We are able to help save you time, money and, perhaps most importantly, your sanity so you can enjoy your wedding day!

❤Why do I need a planner? I can plan my own wedding

Sure you can, of course! Many brides even think it’s fun. With a wedding planner, you still plan your own wedding … but much better and safer! A wedding planner will not take the options out of your hands but will definitely give you more than you can imagine.
We always have all the exact and fresh information and best service at one place.

So, while you can absolutely plan your own wedding, we can make it a lot better experience and save you some headache without losing your time and money as well!
Many couples who have planned their wedding themselves say that they will
never repeat that they knew before what’s waiting for them.

❤My mom is my planner. Why would I hire someone?

Please NO! While your mother, sister, brother, friend may be willing and able to plan and coordinate your wedding, asking them to do so will be a mistake you will most often regret.

If you are using anyone you would invite to the wedding, you may be making a BIG mistake.

Your mom should go to the hairdresser, should be staying in a beautiful dress and watching you come down the aisle from the front—not watching your back or missing it altogether because the photo booth just arrived and needs to know where to set up for the reception and running all the time.

You and your guests should enjoy all of the celebration of your day.  You should not be worried about the floral arrangements while you are getting your make-up done!  Everyone should be with you, enjoying you, having a good time!  Let us worry about the music, DJ, the caterer, the florists and other supliers.  Let us worry about the placement of centerpieces and the arrival of the limo, parking and weather!

❤I already have a catering manager/ venue coordinator, why do I need to hire a wedding planner?

First off, indeed we love working with venue coordinators! Most of the time their job is to oversee the wedding details that directly relate to the venue itself – Food & Beverage, the venue’s staff… A lot of the time they even leave right after dinner begins. We offer a personalized service per couple and are with you every step of the way during the wedding planning process.

❤Can I afford a wedding planner?

I would say:

The question is really can you afford not to have a wedding planner?

A real professional wedding planner not only saves you time but also a lot of money and trouble as well.

How?

Because you do not have verified information which are trusted best and safe hotels and other accommodation, carriers, yachts, photographers, makeup artists, hairdressers, music … and which are poor and bad services.

Who has the real masters of the confectionery for making sweet spell, and who has a bakery and sells Croatian recipes cakes and sweets,

who is a professional photographer and who has different and bigger prices for their services for Croatian wedding and for clients from abroad,

which flowers and other inventory for wedding decorations have been procured in Croatia and at what price and that you get it,

for e.g.

7 days before the wedding, some flower designers which have recently become wedding planners in Croatia are telling you that flowers can no longer be purchased and now they cost a floral design

2 – 10 times more … and you have already paid them 50% of serious and the big amount of money …and so on, I could list many examples…
Oh yes, that is a daily life in Croatia …

For instance, I met with a couple that had one venue in mind, that would have been sufficient but after they hired Antropoti. I found another venue that they loved very much, was double cheaper, and offered much more amenities than the first venue.

How did I do that?

I know very well Croatia, because I’ve been in many places and I always listened to what they wanted and needed to make their day a perfect. Instead of offering them a high Croatian kunas and euros venue, I found the venue that was perfectly right for them at a price that was right!

We also work with lots of vendors who prefer such a way of doing business and would like to continue that relationship and they give our clients great deals!

Even if you do not view that all and time as money, we save you real €€€ or $$$ !

❤Do you have to know my budget on our first consultation?

This is often one of the first questions what ask our colleagues potential clients during consultations, but for us that does not matter.

But the truth is that you need to give us this information soon or later to ensure your wedding wishes and vision is practical and that your budget is realistic with your expectations. After you begin working us we will provide you with a breakdown of how the money will be allocated.

We always come up with creative ways to save money along the way.

❤I have a small budget, Will I still be able to hire a wedding planner?

Yes of course. We always have great wedding packages or seasonal offers that you need to follow on our web site or fb  and grab them for yourself on time.

Or other option, if you have a smaller wedding budget our wedding day management (aka day of coordination) services may suit you best.

❤What is the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator?

There are big differences between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator.

We have packages for our wedding planner services, and our wedding coordinators as well.

A wedding coordinators job entails duties on the wedding or event day only where the couple has take on the responsibility of all the planning in the lead up and just hands over a brief of the day to the coordinator.

A wedding planner however is someone who has taken some or all of the planning responsibility off the couple in the lead up to the day and after and who may or may not be responsible for the successful execution of the event on the day itself as well.

❤Why should a bride and groom hire a wedding coordinator?

The answer is simple.

To truly enjoy their wedding day. To invest in your joy, happiness, and love their friends, family & guests without worrying about the details themselves.

To have a peace of mind that everything will run nice, easy and smoothly.

Wedding coordinators are professionals who have experience and industry relationships that will allow the brides wedding vision come to be true and come to life.

I am happy to work as a coordinator at other weddings of my colleagues.

❤A Wedding Coordinator is expensive; can’t my friends or family help out?

It all depends on which angle you look at what is expensive and what is not …

Therefore a coordinator is an investment in making sure your wedding day is beautiful & flawless while taking that stress and all duty off you and your family and just like you, your friends and family will come only for you and they want to enjoy the day and celebrate with you rather than working your event for you.

You can be sure that`s true.

❤What is the difference in a venue coordinator and a wedding coordinator?

A venue coordinator oversees the on site staff, to make sure they are fulfilling their contractual obligations, serving food on time, etc.

Sometimes or a lot of times the venue coordinator is not there for the duration of the event and or they have other events they are overseeing on venue during the same time.

A wedding coordinator works only for you to make every aspect run nice, easy and smoothly, meet and greet all your vendors, send out a timeline prior on time, make sure you are having a great time celebrating etc. and to ensure that your wedding dream has become a reality.

❤As a vendor, what are the benefits to working with a wedding coordinator such as yourself?

So often I am told by other vendors, colleagues and business partners that I am very easy to work with and very true professional and friendly.

I have no problem and I am flexible and get along with everyone. Never I don’t see myself as a higher rank than the other people, vendors, colleagues and business partners which I am told some coordinators and wedding planners do.

We are always all there for the best interest of the clients, bride & groom.

So, it’s so important to work as a team on the wedding day or event with all possible vendors making sure everything goes well and to ensure a smooth and flawless event.

❤What makes your service different than other coordinators?

I believe that my big knowledge and experience a and my friendly personality.

I am always able to take care of all the details in an organized and business like manner with my past experience as a Corporate Company Manager, I learned so many aspects on the venue side.

I truly live my job every day and love what I do and want every wedding and event to be perfect for my clients.

❤My venue has a coordinator.. Do I still need a wedding planner or day-of-coordinator?

About the differences we can say and write a lot, but in short;

A venue coordinator and a wedding planner or day-of-coordinator do very different things indeed.

While it is true that a venue coordinator and a day-of-coordinator will have some over lap there is still an added value to having both a venue coordinator and a wedding planner as well.

❤How early should couples start to plan their wedding? Hire a wedding coordinator?

There are no rules.

Anywhere from 6-12 months prior to the wedding date is always a good time to start planning wedding or event.

Some couples start planning with up to 2 years in advance and some call us

2 days before the wedding day :)

You don’t want to wait until the last minute and feel overwhelmed, but you also don’t want to be planning for too long. I do recommend hiring your wedding planner or coordinator right away, even for the ‘month of/day of’ package.

I belive that you’ll want to get a contract signed to ensure the coordinator is available for your wedding date.

Very important info is for you that I already have weddings booked for 18-20 months from now!

❤What if you’re sick on my wedding day?

Yes, as much as we hate to admit it, we are human, we’re not robots, right?.

We do get sick, have major life traumas and while I would like to fancy myself a super strong and hero, I am a mere mortal.  In the event that I am sick or experiencing some other catastrophic event (which is what it would take to miss a wedding or event), I will provide the services with of a wedding planner with similar or more experience by my assistants or colleagues.

I am a teacher of the first Croatian Wedding & Event Planner AcademyAntropoti and I have my participants, students who work for antropoti or who have opened their wedding and events companies for which I know how much they have the knowledge and experience and we support one another in incidences such as this.

Further, Antropoti staff holds regular staff and communication meetings so that everyone is up-to-date on the details of all of our events.

So, there will always be an experienced wedding and event planner to make sure your dream wedding as if you and I were there together!

❤How do you choose which suppliers to use?

We are a concierge service and we always have a unlimited list of suppliers that we hand out. We always choose the best and most trusted service.

For that it’s taken a long time of our business to establish many of our vendor relationships and it’s priceless IP that distinguishes our service from the rest in Croatia and EX Yugoslavia as well.

❤Will you work with vendors we select, or only those you recommend?

Of course, AVC Team will absolutely work with your choice of vendors, however we have the biggest list a great team of preferred vendors that we work with should you need any referrals.

❤What area do you serve?

I love to travel and I am someone who travels throughout Croatia and abroad.

I primarily serve the Croatia and EX Yugoslavia area.  Our service area generally includes Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Hungary.

However we have gone as far as Middle East in Dubai and as far as Maldive.  We would love to get to the Bali, Caribbean, Mexico or Australia!

We can assist with any event. Yes, of course we are able to offer planning services to couples wanting to get married overseas, or for couples wanting to travel to Croatia, Dubai, Maldives…

❤Do you support or cater to any specific religions?

We cater to all religions.

❤Do you plan same sex weddings?

Yes – Love is Love. So, I believe that everyone should be able to celebrate their love.  We do not discriminate and will make sure that the vendors we suggest for same sex couples are truly accepting of the couple and their love! We will making their wedding dreams come to fruition.

❤My venue already has a wedding planner, why do I need your help?

Because, here in Croatia is very modern called a wedding planner, because they say – it sounds good and fancy J although these same people do not know what does a wedding planner or think it is easy to do, because only connect people without knowledge and experience.

So, a wedding planner is someone you hire and is your advocate and represents your best interests. Your wedding planner at the venue represents the venue (and the venue’s best interest) and not you.

Besides, they also have minimum involvement with planning the event and if anything are primarily involved in the food and beverage components and very often they do not know what size and how much they have tables or chairs, and even less tablecloth.

They have very limited outside the scope of this, especially that which concerns any other vendor which is involved in your event prior to the commencement time of the reception. This includes photographers, videographers, music, light and sound, transportation, hair and make up artists, gifts, fireworks, tents and arbors and all those involved at the ceremony if it’s not in the same location as the reception.

❤How long have you been in the business?

Antropoti has been operating since 2012, but in the world of weddings and events and travel since 1997.

❤Will the person I meet at my initial consultation be the same wedding planner I work with on the day?

Not necessarily, because any consultations prior to booking are to understand what sort of service you need from us. I then allocate the best and appropriate wedding or event manager for your wedding. Of course can be an opportunity to say hello with your event manager in the lead up to the day.

❤Do you take on more than one event per day?

Yes. Our number one priority is always you the client. We fully respect your time and your special day and I will never take it more than we can 100% to provide.

But this is not a problem for me and AVC Team, because I take care of the careful schedule planning and wedding and event, travel schedules for every year.

That means that if we have booked a very large wedding for more than 300 people up to 1000 people then I never take on more than one wedding or event per day.

Moreover if the clients are the first book of our services abroad then I am with AVC Tim on the travel and I will take the organization only for a small wedding or parts of wedding services which can provide my assistants and colleagues as well.

So far, our maximum number was 5 weddings in 1 day, and I was on the biggest and most demanding wedding and at other locations was the AVC Team.

And all 5 weddings were perfect and with no problems at all and on time.

❤What will you wear to my wedding / event?

All Antropoti staff will arrive in professional black attire – we have dresses, shirts, skirts, pants and caps.

❤Will you eat, drink & dance during the reception? How comfortable will you make yourself?

Since weddings tend to be at least a 12 hour day, vendor meals during the reception are high appreciated.

Here in Croatia, it is common to provide a table and food for staff; music, photographers, wedding planner …

However, we are there to do a job, and that means that we will absolutley not be drinking any alcohol nor will we join your guests on the dance floor…

Although the newlyweds, mothers, fathers often invite us to join them when pass the main and most important part of the wedding or event.

❤What do you do during the reception when you’re done coordinating our ceremony, dances, cake cutting, ect?

Once our logistical duties are fulfilled we then act as an extension of staff to the remaing  vendors up to the agreed time of our service, depending on the needs of the clients and wedding.

Often times we are assisting the caterers during the reception before, after or in between dances, cake cutting, the bouquet toss, ect. We help with everything, we solve the urgency, take care of the suppliers to be all in time, always someone needs something … but we’re also watching the clock to ensure that everything goes according to the plan.

Ultimatley, our work is never “done”.

❤How long will you be there on our wedding day?

We are typically there from the first delivery to the end of the reception.  We do not have a set number of hours but usually work around 12-16 hours.

We often come to the day before the wedding and leave the day after the wedding.

Sometimes we stay longer if clients need for added activities, trips for yourself and  their guests.

❤What forms of payment do you accept and do you offer payment plans?

We accept payment via our bank account, Transferwise and Pay Pal.

Your payments are broken down into smaller more manageable payments.  We will always work with you to set up a payment plan that works for you and your financial situation.

❤Do you have flexible payment plans?

Yes. Your payments are broken down into smaller more manageable payments.  Payments on our most of our plans include two equal installments, one upon booking and the other two weeks prior. This applies to a wedding planning service or a wedding package.

Any other service eg accommodation in hotels, catering etc has its payment terms also always you pay part of the deposit, and the balance by appointment.

However we can be very flexible to suit your needs, please let us know at time of booking.

❤Do you accept credit cards?

Sorry, no.

❤What type of packages do you offer?

We offer really a lot of different packages which you can find here.

But we have set up a few basic packages depending on what type of service the bride is looking for and how much assistance. We have our Church Package, Civil Package, Symbolic Package, Wedding for Two Package…which is our ‘month of/day of’ package. Also we have our small and mid-level package and we have our Luxury Package, which is our full service package. We can also customize packages to meet all your specific needs.

There are no limits for us.

❤Will you try to push your highest package?

Oh, absolutely not!

We will offer you the package that makes the most sense for you because if you have everything planned and just need us to execute, if you just need some new and fresh ideas, if you need a “shadow planner”, whatever you need and wish is what we will suggest and do it for you.

We always create the best deal according to your wishes and possibilities.

While we have packages, most of the time, we cater our packages to your needs once we know what they are. That is a large reason why we do not post all our package and prices on our website, because many times the package is customized to the needs of each couple.

And above all, every day we are faced with a copy of our way of doing business,  so we try to limit information to the public as much as we can.

If you do not need a full service package, we won’t offer you one!

❤Do you charge an initial consultation?

No, our initial consultation is complementary.

But after that it is charged.Through our contact form when you fill out the best you can for us right away we know the answer for you.

We like to take this time to get to know you and ensure that we’re the best fit for your needs. On that way we saving your and our time.

We have placed the most information on the Croatian market on all of our websites and we believe that we have provided you with enough information so that you can opt for your wedding planner.

Since each event is different, we encourage you to schedule a consultation with us to determine which services will best fit your needs.

But here is our basic prices.

❤Do you charge an hourly rate, a flat rate or a percentage of my overall wedding budget? What is the retainer to secure your services?

You can choose to pay either an hourly rate (if you just need a few consultations to overcome a planning hurdle) or select from one of our packages. If you can’t find what you need, or for end to end planning rates – please talk to us for a custom proposal.

To book us in for the day we usually require a 50% deposit and the balance is due two weeks prior.

Steps for the payment for our services:

Step 1 … You pay  start-up fee of 300€ regular price for our wedding planning service which is deducted from the total cost of our services if you choose our wedding planning service – If you want detailed offers, photos and all other information

** If you have decided for our planning service then skip the first step and you pay 50% for the wedding planning 50% of the total amount of 100% or 50 % for the selected wedding package – this is step 2

Step 2 … You pay the remaining amount for our wedding planning services up to 50% or part of the deposit for the wedding planning 50% of the total amount of 100% (regular price list) or 50 % for the selected wedding package

Step 3 …payment locations if it is necessary and pay part of the deposit for the restaurant, accommodation, yacht that you choose … and other services that you want to

Step 4 … the rest of the wedding services should be paid by the end of 14 days before the wedding or before if you want

❤How many weddings or events will you coordinate per day?

Usually it is only one wedding or event for event manager, unless on the rare occasion we have a morning wedding or several weddings or evenings per day.
As we noted previously that our maximum so far is five weddings in one day.
Of course, we have not counted hen or stag parties and other events.
We will leave all the information though to our business secret J

❤Do I need to provide you with a crew meal?

As we have previously noted

Since weddings tend to be at least a 12 hour day, if we are at your wedding or event through all day or the main course component of the evening, then a crew meal during the reception high appreciated.

Our shifts can be long and tiring and anything we can do to keep our energy level up is always helpful.

Besides, here in Croatia, it is common to provide a table and food for staff; music, photographers, wedding planner …

❤Do you take over the full control of the entire event?

We always take a very collaborative approach to all our events, and we will be guided by you as to how little or much you’d like us to manage the wedding or event.

❤Do I really need a wedding planner? I’ve already hired all my wedding suppliers.

In the end it is only your decision.

Many couples hire us purely for saving a time, money and the peace of mind it brings.

You can engage us at any stage of the planning process. If you have already started planning your wedding and have hired your own vendors, we are happy to work with them.

If you’d like a hand sourcing vendors we can assist with that as well. Or if you’d like to hire all your own suppliers and hire us just for on the day coordination, we have a range of plans to suit your needs.

❤Are you able to assist with wet weather back up plans?

Yes, of course.

We always work in a way to advise our clients for back up plans when they are looking for a wedding venue.

For example, unfortunately, one of our colleagues happened to have organized Wedding at Lovrijenac Fortress in Dubrovnik for a large group of guests and then the rain fell two times in a row.

They had a reserve of clean tablecloths to only change one… did not provide a backup plan, transportation for guests … so the wedding was destroyed.

If you’d just like peace of mind when it comes to planning your outdoor ceremony, we would love to help with any aspect of helping with wet weather back up plans.

❤Will I receive a better price for my ceremony and reception decor if I use Antropoti Wedding Concierge & Planner ?

Yes of course. You may be able to save time and money booking your ceremony and reception decor through Antropoti.

Because we have in our own inventory of floral design and wedding design; vases, candlesticks, gazebo, baldachins, pillows, carpets, decorative materials, lanterns, diamonds, pearls and a lot of gifts and ideas for the wedding.

I always create great discounts, benefits or even free wedding bouquet for the bride.

If you have hired us for wedding planning or coordination, we are often able to supply materials if they are easy enough to carry in our vehicle including seating charts, ceremony programs, place cards, flowers, decor, and materials etc.

But if that need to be packed up at a time outside of our agreed service and hours may attract additional delivery fees.

❤How much communication will we have?

There is no limit on email or phone comminucation. You can email, call or text as much & as often as you need.

❤I don’t live in Croatia, can we still work together?

Yes of course. I love very much my destination couples!

I would actually say about 90% of my couples are either from abroad.

Some couples I don’t even meet in person until the day before their wedding

and then is communication and trust is also key when you are planning from afar.

The planning process usually begins with an email, Skype or WhatsApp consultation so we can get to know each other.

One of the hardest things for the couple to deal with is not seeing their venue until right before the wedding. Sometimes they come to Croatia before the wedding day on a venue tour.

In order to help with this I will always take videos them while I am on a venue tour.

Also I have lots of photos and videos which I send to couples when they booked us for their wedding or event planner or coordinator.

❤Can we hire you as soon as we get engaged or should we wait?

My dates are booked well in advance and the sooner we begin planning, the better! So, as soon as you get engaged is recommended.
